Cargo Services kicks off Books for Youth season at Josam

Some 30 northern Indiana foster children received Colts backpacks filled with 25 age-appropriate books during the Books for Youth kick off event at Josam on Tuesday, June 24.

Books for YouthNow in its eighth year, Books for Youth the Books for Youth team has collected more than 800,000 books for this program and has distributed more than 7,500 backpacks to foster children in IBooks for Youthndiana. The 2014 Books for Youth program spokesman is Colts Kicker #1 Pat McAfee. This statewide program is coordinated by the Indianapolis Colts and DCS. Cargo Services Inc., a freight forwarding company, is the program title sponsor.

The public is invited to support the program during the 2014 season through the Buy A Bag and Donate One program. For each backpack purchased one is donated to the program and distributed to an Indiana foster child. Visit the Books for Youth website for details and to make purchases.
