Cargo Services owners participating in 14th WCA Annual Conference, Bangkok March 4-7

INDIANAPOLIS—Feb. 27, 2012—Cargo Services Inc., an Indiana owned and operated global freight-forwarder with a network of hundreds of agents in more than 80 countries, joins more than 4,000 freight forwarders in Bangkok Thailand this week for the World Cargo Alliance Annual Conference. The company’s three owners will travel to Asia to meet with agents, clients and business prospects during this global event.

Topics of discussion will include services and rate requirements as well as current industry conditions.

“Daily and weekly we talk with agents and clients via email and phone. The distance prevents building a face-to-face relationship. This forum gives us the time to sit down, talk, listen and get to know each other without the barriers of those electronic devices,” says Cargo Services Managing Director John Rowe. “This is a great business development opportunity for our company since professionals from nearly 700 cities and ports will be attending—many of them from among our business network.”

The World Cargo Alliance is the premier global network of elite independent international freight forwarders. Members of the WCA family of logistic networks make up the world’s most powerful grouping of independent freight forwarders with 4064 offices in more than 667 cities and ports worldwide and together create more logistics power than all other networks combined.
