Colts, Cargo Services Assist in the Need to Read

Last night the Cargo Services team hosted 30 Indiana foster families at our headquarters. It was a great night.

NFL Indianapolis Colts Punter Pat McAfee joined us to sign autographs and meet the families. Blue performed, the Colts Cheerleaders met the kids and more.

The Books for Youth program, operated by the Indiana Department of Child Services and the Indianapolis Colts, has a goal to distribute 10,000 backpacks each filled with 25 age-appropriate books, to foster children throughout the state. To date, title sponsor Cargo Services, in partnership with DCS and the Indianapolis Colts, have achieved the half-way mark distributing 5,000 backpacks to foster children statewide.

The organizations are inviting community members to participate by purchasing a special edition Blue backpack from the Colts Pro Shop. For each backpack purchased, the Colts will donate one filled with 25 age-appropriate books to an Indiana foster child as a part of the program. The Blue backpacks are $22 and are available at the Colts Pro Shop or online.
