<p>The Books for Youth program, operated by the Indiana Department of Child Services and the Indianapolis Colts, has a goal to distribute 10,000 backpacks each filled with 25 age-appropriate books, to foster children throughout the state. To date, title sponsor Cargo Services, in partnership with DCS and the Indianapolis Colts, have achieved the half-way mark distributing 5,000 backpacks to foster children statewide.</p>
<p>The organizations are inviting community members to participate by purchasing a special edition Blue backpack from the Colts Pro Shop. For each backpack purchased, the Colts will donate one filled with 25 age-appropriate books to an Indiana foster child as a part of the program. The Blue backpacks are $22 and are available at the Colts Pro Shop or <a href="http://www.coltsproshoponline.com/Backpack/">online</a>.</p>

The program in partnership with the Indianapolis Colts and Department of Child Services marked the halfway point in reaching Indiana&#39;s Foster Youth providing backpacks filled with 25 age-appropriate books. To mark the milestone, Colts fans were encouraged to donate books and cash as they entered Lucas Oil Stadium.</p>
<p><strong>Book Count&#8230;.</strong>&nbsp;<strong>2,948 books collected!</strong></p>
<p><strong>Cash Count&#8230;. $1,012 collected!</strong></p>
<p>The Indianapolis Colts, DCS and Cargo Services will celebrate this milestone by recognizing the Wilkersons, a foster family with four foster children who will receive &ldquo;Books for Youth&rdquo; backpacks on the field at halftime.</p>
<p>Through the support of the Indianapolis Colts and Title Sponsor Cargo Services, DCS has collected more than 500,000 books and has distributed 5,000 backpacks filled with 25 age-appropriate books to Indiana Foster Youth. At any given time, there are 10,000 children in Indiana&rsquo;s foster care system.</p>

<p>During his ten-year tenure at NNR Global Logistics, a global brand in the freight forwarding industry, his position progressed from account executive with responsibility to develop new client accounts and building relationships with existing customers to liaise and manage global logistics for the company&rsquo;s Sydney Australia operation where supported a sales force of 60 branch managers and sales representatives. As the Midwest-UK business development team leader for the company he supported the global sales team in support of major multi-lane bids, coached new sales associates, worked with overseas accounts to facilitate new business and worked to develop new sales opportunities in the region.</p>

<p>Mora joins the company with nearly 20 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry. He previously held the position of ocean export manager for industry brand BDP where he represented national corporations to export goods throughout the world, managed and trained new team members and related and implemented strategic growth plans.
